Snorkel & Discover

The Mediterranean is home to one of the most unique and captivating marine ecosystems in the world.
This underwater world, filled with hundreds of fish species, sponges, seagrass meadows, and a wide variety of fascinating invertebrates, is actually much closer than we think.

Snorkeling is the most free and enjoyable way to access this world:
with just a few strokes from the shore, you can find yourself in a completely different universe.

 

In this workshop, our aim is not just to “look” at the marine life you encounter while snorkeling or diving in Kaş, but to truly recognize and understand it—
to become aware of its place within the ecosystem.

We invite anyone who wants to strengthen their connection with the sea, discover Kaş from a different perspective underwater, and meet new knowledge that will feed their curiosity, to join this exploration.

   What will we do in this workshop?

​

  • We meet in the morning at our classroom in Can Mocamp, where we have an introductory talk about Kaş, the Mediterranean, and the fish, crustaceans, invertebrates, seagrass meadows, and other species we may encounter.

  • We prepare our bags and head together to the shore or boat selected for snorkeling that day.

  • We identify the marine life we encounter, talk about their role in the ecosystem, and learn interesting facts along the way.

  • We learn how to observe the underwater world more carefully and consciously.

  • After the session, we relax and recharge with some surprise treats.

  • At the end of the experience, a participation certificate is provided.

  • Participants under 15 can join with a parent

  • Special workshops are available for groups under 15 – please contact us

  • Location: Can Mocamp, Kaş, Antalya – Turkey

  • Duration: 08:00 – 12:00 (shore) / 08:00 – 14:00 (boat)

  • Equipment: Mask and snorkel included. You may also bring your own equipment if you prefer.

  • Group size: Max. 8 people
